MiXT UP Mondays – Girls group

Girls only music sessions

A weekly girls music session which is funded by Youth Music as part of our Mixt-Up programme.

Participant exercising vocals in our live room

These sessions are designed to raise confidence, make music, and learn more about the music industry, from playing guitar to producing beats for other young people.

Learn to use apple macs, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, and Native Instruments Maschine. Use live instruments such as guitar, drums, or anything you can find in the Soft Touch vaults!

Get the opportunity to play in a band, develop your singing or even perform.

Participants will get the chance to make music with other young people at our studios on New Walk making use of all our facilities, to move them forward in their life.

Our Soft Touch music leaders are in the music industry and regularly make music, record and perform.

We will be opening up our studios on weekly on mondays, 4-6pm.

If you are interested or perhaps you work with young people who might be interested please call Joe on 0116 2552592 or email referrals@soft-touch.org.uk

“I’ve always wanted to learn how to play piano and this has given me the head start. I love it here.” – Participant from the MiXT-Up session has enjoyed the music sessions here and now brings a friend along, a singer, who helps bring her songs to life. How great!
