Nicol Nightingale-Spear Joins Soft Touch Management Board

Director of Fothergill Wyatt Joins Management Board of Leicester Charity Soft Touch Arts

Soft Touch Arts is delighted to welcome Nicol Nightingale-Spear to the charity’s voluntary management board.  Nicol joined at the November Annual General Meeting.

Soft Touch Arts has been changing the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged young people across Leicestershire since 1986.   The voluntary board of directors plays a vital role in the development and sustainability of the charity, with members contributing a wide range of strategic and specialist skills.

Christina Wigmore, Business Development Director at Soft Touch says:  “We are very lucky to have Nicol on the board. She really cares about the young people we work with and supports the vision and aims of the charity.  Her business and marketing skills will be a real asset to the organisation and we look forward to her playing a part in our future development”.

Nicol works for Leicestershire Estate and Lettings Agent, Fothergill Wyatt, based in Stoneygate and is also the Regional Representative for ARLA Propertymark, the UK’s largest professional body for letting agents. She first became aware of Soft Touch through a business networking event they hosted, and Fothergill Wyatt commissioned a bespoke photography collage from one of the young people the charity was working with. This is now proudly displayed in the Fothergill Wyatt boardroom.

Nicol says “During this project I was lucky enough to witness first-hand the positive impact the charity has in unlocking young people’s creative talents, helping them to gain deserved recognition for their work and the change in their attitude, motivation and ability to achieve. I am truly honoured to have been invited to join the board of such a successful and worthwhile charity.”
