Environmental advocacy internship

If this is you apply for our six-month internship based at our centre on New Walk in Leicester. The internship runs from February – July 2025 for 20 hours per week, paid at the real living wage of £12.60/hour.
We are looking for applications from young people aged 18-25, although we will consider applicants up to the age of 30. We particularly encourage applications from young people who are from Leicester’s diverse and under-represented communities, including those who live with neurodiversity.
The opportunity will provide you with experience in organising projects and events with young people; raising awareness of the climate emergency amongst young people; engaging with local communities; using creative media such as art and music to reflect young people’s views and ideas.
