Music-making across the East Midlands received a boost today when Youth Music announced grants totalling £320,000 for music projects in the region.

During 2012 we worked with three women from the Gypsy Traveller community in partnership with STAR (Supporting Tenants and Residents) to produce an accessible housing support toolkit.

Crafty people in New Parks have contributed over 120 squares to a quilt celebrating New Parks in the Jubilee and Olympic year of 2012.

A golden sporting giant scaling the Western Fire Station tower was the highlight of the BIG-UP New Parks first year celebration event on 27 July.

The under 8's area at the annual Summer Sundae Festival was a scary place to be with large insects appearing all over the place frightening both children and adults.

Five young people who took part in our Creative Mentors programme have been awarded a Bronze Arts Award, a level 1 NVQ qualification.

The book highlights that these are issues of growing interest beyond the disciplinary areas of refugee studies, migration studies, and social policy.
