Soft Touch Arts is recruiting for a Freelance External Evaluator to produce Project Enable’s year two evaluation report for The National Lottery Community Fund by mid-February 2024.
Timescale: starting at beginning of November 2023 and finishing mid-February 2024
Project Enable is a three-year partnership programme between Soft Touch Arts, Team Hub (the New Parks resident-run community centre) and New College Leicester. The project partners work collaboratively to help 11-16 year-olds from New Parks to raise aspirations and improve life chances through undertaking creative activities, specifically arts, music and dance.
The evaluation consultant must have the ability to build trusting relationships and communicate with a wide range of people including 11-16 year olds from New Parks; teachers from New College Leicester; and staff from Team Hub and Soft Touch Arts, to collect data to inform the report. They should have experience of evaluating community-based projects, analysing findings and writing these up in high-quality reports.
Fee
The agreed fee is £5,000 (exclusive of VAT if applicable) inclusive of expenses, e.g. travel, payable on receipt of invoices,
- £2,000 at the start of the project
- £2,000 midway through the project
- £1,000 on completion of the final report
All candidates invited for interview will be asked to bring evidence of the right to live and work in the UK and self-employed status. The successful candidate will be asked for proof of identity, address and an enhanced DBS certificate.
