The aim of the project is to target young people with challenging life circumstances and those who may have additional needs and need support to reach their potential.
On Monday nights 4-6pm we are targeting young female musicians, with our girls-only session, led by our female music leaders including
Leicester-based musician Sharon Collier – multi instrumentalist and singer
On Tuesday evenings – 4-6pm- our session is aimed at young musicians with higher support needs, such as a having a learning disability, an Autistic Spectrum Disorder, or young musicians who are at risk of offending or on orders from Youth Offending Services.
These sessions are led by musicians with expansive skillsets as instrumentalists, producers and contemporary musicians
To attend this session you need to complete a referral form which can be found here
We also run the infamous and increasingly popular Friday night sessions – 4-7pm. These sessions are for young people who are from inner city areas or the outer estates of Leicester. Aimed at young people who maybe ready to takw the next steps into the music scene. We provide a space to work on your music skills and produce mixtapes and videos for social media and working towards preparing for and playing gigs at local music venues.
These sessions are led by local Leicester Hip-hop legend Naji-Wavey
