Here's how it works:

In Creative Sessions

During our art and music projects, youth workers talk with young people about the direction they want their work to take — and how we can best support them to get there.

In Our Spaces

Outside of sessions, young people share what opportunities would help them develop their skills, feel connected, and have their voices heard.

• They discuss culture, community, and the wider world.

• We invite guest speakers to broaden their knowledge.

• Their input guides our ideas for future projects and funding bids.

On Residentials and Trips: Away from the usual settings, young people gain new experiences, discover more about themselves, and build confidence and friendships that last beyond the trip.

At Events: Young people take the stage performing, speaking, and sharing what Soft Touch means to them with the wider community.

Leading the Way: From planning residentials to designing creative spaces and hosting their own events, young people help shape what we do and how we do it.

Why It Matters

Youth Voice gives young people real influence. Their ideas matter. Their contributions shape our projects, events, and spaces — and ensure everything we do reflects them.
